Hawaii's Kilauea Volcano has been erupting for the last three months, evaporating the island's largest lake, increasing the island's total land mass, and destroying over 500 homes. These images capture fresh flows of lava criss-crossing the neighborhoods on the eastern tip of the island. Steam rises from where lava meets the ocean, forming new land.
